In this role, you will help improve the coating processes at our customers in the Machinery segment across the DACH region. Your focus will be on making our customers more efficient by identifying technical challenges, optimizing application processes, and ensuring the correct implementation of Teknos coating systems. You will work closely with the Teknos commercial team to deliver practical, high-performing, and customer-specific solutions that create measurable value.
Your responsibility
- Technical support and customer service
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for Machinery customers and distributors.
- Conduct application trials, line audits, and troubleshooting to ensure consistent coating performance.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to develop and validate coating solutions.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and support to customers and internal teams.
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with the Sales Machinery Team and other regional functions to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to product launches and application projects with technical know-how.
- Identify technical needs and feedback insights to the organization.
- Support commercial activities where needed (e.g. customer visits, technical presentations).
Your profile
We are looking for dedicated professionals who share our values of creativity, perseverance, and fairness.
- Technical education (e.g. coatings technology, surface engineering, chemical or mechanical background).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical service, technical sales support, or application engineering, ideally within industrial coatings or related industries.
- Strong understanding of coating systems, application methods, and customer processes in the Machinery sector.
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with high quality awareness.
- Fluent in English and German (additional languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel regularly across the DACH region.
- Basic commercial understanding and customer orientation are considered an advantage.
