As a Product Manager you will support and execute in the delivery and maintenance of a robust, sustainable and profitable products portfolio that consistently meets Teknos' customer’s demands. You will be responsible for Product Life Cycle Management and Assortment Management for selected product categories, countries and customer groups.
This role is a part of a global Product Portfolio Development team and may be placed in Helsinki, Finland or in Germany - near to one of our sites in Alzenau or Bruggen. We offer a hybrid working model, providing regular visits to the assigned office.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring the product portfolio in owned product category is in compliance with regulation in all countries
- Driving the NPD and NPL project from idea to product launch across functions and countries and taking a coordinating role across functions and countries in a product launch
- Managing all aspect of in-life products including product positioning, USPs, price strategy, and customer feedback, requirements and issues
- Responsible for ramp down execution of cancelled products in dedicated products group
- In charge of coordinating information for the creation of Product Information content
- Quarterly follow up on owned product categories
- Execution of all labtask in relevant products group, except NPD
- Responsible for country specific assortment for a dedicated customers group
- Assortment manager for 3rd party product including all products life cycle
- Participating and providing updates in S&OP review meetings
- Assists the commercial organisation during customer visits, fairs, events, and in comprehending customer product requirements
Key skills and qualifications:
- Several years of experience in a similar role related to product management, preferably from a coating industry (knowledge of the interior and exterior dedicated products) or related chemical field
- B2I (business to industry) experience is essential
- Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving combined with exceptional multitasking abilities
- Experience in leading projects and professional project know how
- Very good IT skills ERP system (IFS), CRM systems (SalesForce), Office package especially Excel
- Fluent both English and local language (Finnish or German, depending on the location) are mandatory
