Maintenance Manager

As the current Maintenance Manager moves on to new challenges, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager for Teknos for a permanent position in the maintenance of the Rajamäki production plant.

Your home base will be at Rajamäki site, but you will also be responsible for Pitäjänmäki site.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Planning
• Execution and development of maintenance and facility management operations according to budget
• Resources and sustainability targets, including HSE
• Developing and implementing a (proactive) maintenance strategy to ensure high reliability with a cost level that meets Teknos’ profitability targets. 
• Setting up and developing a maintenance system
• Establishing a proactive maintenance strategy
• Hiring subcontractors for specialized maintenance work and signing off on maintenance contracts 
• Looking for new ways/tools/assets to improve efficiency and control costs as part of continuous improvement
• Managing a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors
• Ensuring resources, skills and competences are up-to-date and compliant with internal and external requirements
• Promote positive and engaging safety culture through effective communication within own employees, contractors and visitors
• Responsible for fire safety in Rajamäki factory
• Leads and develops the team with a coaching and encouraging approach and in accordance with the Teknos management model
• Acts according to Teknos' values and builds a psychologically safe work environment and Teknos' family culture 
• Is responsible for the team's successful and profitable operation and cooperation with other organizational units across functional, country, etc. boundaries
• Manages the well-being and work ability of team members as part of normal line manager work
• HSEQ responsibilities 

Key skills and qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge preferably with a practical background
• Supplemented with a relevant theoretical education within maintenance
• Preventative approach
• Experience from similar position
• Service minded
• Fluent in English
• Skilled Microsoft user, especially Excell
• Good Management & leadership skills
• Project management skills
