Join us as our Key Account Manager - Acoustic Panels and take on a key role in shaping our global presence by providing our customers with excellent support.
As part of our team, you'll own global key accounts within the acoustic panels category, driving sales growth, profitability, and long-term development. In this role you will have the overall commercial responsibility, including sales, sales growth, profitability and the global business development for acoustic panels business, ensuring quality targets are met, services are defined, resources are appropriately allocated and priorities are set. This role demands strong cross‑collaboration, acting as the critical bridge between customers and our internal teams—including product development, operations, logistics and technical service.
As a member of our global commercial team, you will report directly to one of our Global Commercial Directors. This position can be based in one of Teknos' European offices and requires regular international travel, along with occasional visits to your local office.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Establishing, maintaining, and growing strong, long-term relationships with global key accounts for acoustic panels
- Defining and executing short‑ and long‑term global strategies to drive profitable growth within the acoustic panels business
- Developing comprehensive key account plans, covering product offerings, service delivery, sales initiatives, and marketing alignment with corporate goals
- Managing sales and budgetary performance, owning accuracy in forecasting for the S&OP process
- Contributing to and shaping the overall customer experience strategy in collaboration with product development, technical service, subsidiaries, regional and local teams
- Ensuring cohesive customer interactions and service quality worldwide—balancing regional needs with global consistency
- Negotiating international framework agreements, pricing structures, and managing contractual documentation in coordination with Legal & Compliance
- Conducting global market and competitive analyses to pinpoint growth opportunities and inform strategy
- Utilizing CRM tools to track sales performance, manage product development updates, claim processing, and business development activities
- Initiating and overseeing international customer projects, including coordinating trials, customer engagements, product testing, and implementation across regions
- Acting as the gatekeeper for customer product innovation and product development in line with strategic priorities
Key skills and qualifications:
- Several years of experience in international (global or regional level) sales or key account management within B2B, technical environment
- Business development drive with a hands-on attitude and direct involvement in sales activities
- Excellent relationship-building capability and customer focus
- Strategic thinking combined with commercial strategy planning experience, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Outstanding cross-cultural communication & collaboration skills that allow you to interact effectively across different countries and cultures
- Development oriented and innovative mindset, open for new solutions and continuous improvement
- Proficient in CRM platforms and MS Office
- Fluent English, plus proficiency in at least one other European language
- Open to regular international travel to engage with customers and support cross-border collaboration with Teknos teams
