We are seeking an experienced IFS Application Specialist to join our Application and Integration Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on strategic initiatives including our incoming ERP upgrade project, enterprise system integrations, and data warehouse modernization projects.
You will be working in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and professional development are highly valued, contributing to business-critical systems that support our manufacturing and warehousing operations across multiple sites. As a member of an international team, you will work daily on cross-border assignments, collaborating with colleagues across diverse countries and cultures. The role requires you to be currently based in one of Teknos European countries and able to make regular visits to the local office.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and maintain IFS Applications
- Design and develop integrations between IFS and other enterprise systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, PLM, Snowflake, PIM and eCommerce solutions) using Frends iPaaS
- Support and optimize existing IFS configurations, workflows, and business logic
- Participate in our future ERP upgrade project
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions for business requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform system testing, deployment, and support activities including scheduled maintenance windows
Key skills and qualifications:
- Several years of technical experience with IFS Applications (IFS Apps 9/10 or IFS Cloud), knowledge of Novacura low-code platform seen as a plus
- Proficiency in IFS development tools and technologies (PL/SQL, IFS Developer Studio, custom fields, events, and workflows)
- Solid understanding of ERP business processes (manufacturing, supply chain, finance)
- Experience with database technologies, particularly Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Experience with integration technologies (REST APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, EDI, ETL/ELT), knowledge of Frends integration platform considered an advantage
- Working knowledge of programming languages (C#/.NET, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and tools (Snowflake, dbt) preferred
- Understanding of Agile/DevOps methodologies
- Background in manufacturing or process industries is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
