Head of Group Reporting

As a Head of Group Reporting, you will be a part of the team of Group Controllers and will support the delivery of strategic financial initiatives, taking leading responsibility of Teknos Group’s consolidation, financial statements and interim reports. You will also design and implement the needed changes in finance processes, definitions and tools, providing continuous development, modernisation and ensuring information accuracy and visibility. You will also support the business with business controlling and accounting topics.

In this role, you will be part of our dynamic, global Teknos Group Oy’s finance team and report to CFO. 

 

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Leading group reporting process by providing guidance, consolidation, financial statements and interim reports
  • Supporting forecasting and yearly budgeting processes in the reporting software
  • Supporting our Teknos Group treasury and its country operations
  • Working in close co-operation with our auditors. Leading the external audit processes as well as in matrix with our subsidiaries’ finance teams
  • Supporting our global finance teams in accounting and reporting topics
  • Training and coaching HQ and country finance teams in FAS (FinnishAccountingStandard)
  • Ensuring sufficient relevant financial control processes are in place worldwide
  • Supporting business with business controlling and accounting topics
  • Ownership and development of Teknos Group Financial Reporting manual
  • Developing our finance processes and systems
  • Admin user for financial reporting and consolidation system, Tagetik

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Several years of relevant work experience in a similar role within an international, complex group structure is a must
  • A suitable Financial or Business education on Bachelor or Master level
  • Excellent knowledge combined with hands-on professional experience of working with FAS (Finnish Accounting Standard) is essential
  • Experience with ERP systems is seen as benefit (IFS used at Teknos)
  • Ability to lead dispersed, multinational teams in a matrix environment
  • Analytical and detailed working touch and excellent prioritizing skills
  • Hands-on approach, strong communication and social skills as you will be in constant contact with countries and in a rapidly changing environment
  • Previous experience from Finance System Projects and/or general Project Management is a benefit
  • Full professionalism in English & Finnish languages. Other language skills are seen as a benefit
