In this role, you can develop yourself into customer-facing technical position where your practical know‑how and technical skills truly matter and create an impact for our clients – vehicles and heavy equipment producers.
As a Technical Service Specialist, you will support and consult vehicles and heavy equipment manufacturers across the entire DACH region, helping them improve efficiency, solve application challenges, and get the best performance out of Teknos coating systems. You will be the trusted technical link between our customers and our internal R&D, Product Management, and Sales teams. As a part of our DACH regional team, you should be located in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein , Switzerland or the Netherlands and able to communicate in German and English.
Your responsibilities:
Technical support:
- Deliver on-site and remote support to customers and distributors
- Run application trials, conduct line audits, and help troubleshoot coating issues
- Ensure correct implementation of Teknos coating systems and optimal application parameters
- Prepare technical documentation and provide training for customers and internal teams
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Partner closely with sales colleagues to deliver effective customer solutions within DACH region
- Support new product introductions and application projects with your technical expertise
- Identify customer needs, gather insights from the field, and share them with the organization
- Join customer visits and technical presentations as part of commercial activities when needed
Your profile
- We are looking for people who bring curiosity, reliability, and a passion for problem-solving within technical processes
- Technical background and passion - understanding of coating systems and application methods
- Hands-on experience in coating processes (industrial or vehicles or heavy equipment) - painting, spraying, application engineering in technical service or similar technical role
- Customer-oriented mindset with basic commercial awareness, that allows you to discuss and consult our customers’ technical teams
- Very good German and English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Hands-on, solution-driven approach and strong quality awareness
- Willingness to travel across the DACH region
