As Product Manager you will be taking ownership of managing and executing the delivery and maintenance of a sustainable and profitable product portfolio that meets Teknos' customer demands. You will be in charge of Product Life Cycle Management and Assortment Management across selected product categories for our Infra & Energy customer segment globally. 

 

This role is a part of a global Product Portfolio Development team and may be placed in Poland, Germany or Finland, with regular visits to our offices in Warsaw, Gdynia, Alzenau, Brüggen, Helsinki, or Rajamäki. We offer a flexible hybrid work model to best support work-life balance. The role will include quarterly travelling within Europe to visit production sites and customers.  

 

 

The most important tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the product portfolio in owned product category is in compliance with regulations in each market. 
  • Driving the NPD and NPL projects from idea to product launch across functions and countries. 
  • Managing all aspects of in-life products, including product positioning, USPs, price strategy and customer feedback, requirements, and issues. 
  • Coordinating creation and maintenance of product information content. 
  • Quarterly follow up on owned product categories and ramp down execution of cancelled products.  
  • Overseeing all lab task, except NPD 
  • Coordination of private label business, including product portfolio, labels and packaging 
  • Responsibility for country specific assortment  
  • Acting as the assortment Manager for 3rd party products and the lifecycle of your responsible product category. 
  • Supporting the commercial organisation at customer visits and events to better understand the product needs 

 

Key skills and qualifications: 

  • Several years of experience in a similar role related to product management within business to industry field 
  • Experience with industrial products is essential while some paint, coatings or related chemical business knowledge would be a significant advantage 
  • Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving combined with exceptional multitasking abilities 
  • Experience in leading projects and professional project knowhow  
  • Very good IT skills − ERP system (IFS), CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics), Microsoft Office (especially Excel) 
  • Fluent English is mandatory as well as the local language (German, Polish or Finnish – depending on the location)
