Do you want to be part of a Finnish family business? Are you interested in working with the technology that manufactures coating products? Now there is a great opportunity to do so! We need a Demand Planner trainee to support our S&OP development in Pitäjänmäki.
This is a fixed term contract for six (6) months.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Connect with sales, PM and supply chain to generate and align a monthly demand plan
- Match supply with demand and demand with supply
- Short and long-term forecasting data analysis
- Producing consolidated data for supply chain use
- Aggregate large amounts of data
- Continuous improvement for data management & demand planning tools
- Forecast visualization & modelling
- Track forecast deviations and communicate their impact on the supply chain and business
- Budget vs forecast analysis
- Ensure master data quality and maintain accurate planning parameters
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply risks through alternative scenarios and “what-if” analyses
- Sales opportunity pipeline scanning
Key skills and qualifications:
- Data Analytics – Ability to process and interpret large datasets, utilizing Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Forecasting Models – Understanding of models and algorithms used for demand forecasting
- ERP and Planning Systems – Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Numerical Accuracy – Even small errors can significantly impact forecasts and inventory management
- Proactiveness and Initiative
- Attitude – Ability to get things done, service-minded approach, and eagerness to provide management with analyses
- Proficiency in English
